Map Layouts

I am currently designing some map layouts for the proposed site to give an idea of what is to be expected. I am also looking into making it a type of trench maze site, would be unable to go over top though due to H&S, if the costs are too high. For the moment only my initial ideas are here i am still working on finding alternative materials to use for buildings.

The Two maps below are based on the use of portacabins.
The first was just a quick layout the second was more to scale with the white area representing flagstones and lines of sight drawn in. Both are based on a gravel surface. the left hand side is the entrance area the walled off area is the no fire zone and once beyond the lower wall is the battle area.

Another is currently being created considering the use of different materials and also an inner wall so fire arcs can cover all entry points and there are about 20 or so entry points to cover

This is my newest idea with a little more detail based on 6 acres of land. The idea is that an enemy base has been created around caves and tunnels and must be raided. I admit that using all 6 acres for this may be optomistic however it is able to be adapted for smaller areas. The tunnel walls would be constructed of metal fencing coated in waterproof rough style plaster with ventalation holes in places. The floor would basicaly be flattened top soil for a well trodden effect. The buildings would be made of a similar design and the paved areas would be open top but walled similar to that of the tunnel. As for the roofing to the tunnels i have not as yet decided. I admit this would take a lot of work and a while to create but I think it would be a good challenge for anyone visiting. This is not my final idea and could be a little bit too enthusiastic of me however i do think it could work. To look at the map in more detail click on the thumbnail below
